How many times should you follow up on a lead? Some say that
you should follow up at least three times at an absolute minimum,
while five or six is even better. But the real answer is . . .
whatever is working best for you. But how do you know what's
working for you if aren't tracking your results?
To help speed up the process and figure out what is working for
you, you need to chart your results with each follow up for each
prospect and record what you said or did to make contact and the
results, positive or negative.
Then after you have this information, you can analyze your
results, so you know which of your follow ups actually got
your prospects to react positively. Once you know what works,
you can use the best follow up for your first or second contact
with a prospect and speed up your sales or recruitment process.
