Thanks for your thoughts..
but I disagree. What do you mean by "approved"? MLM is illegal in China. In
December they will announce a one level payout law. Meaning you can pay a
salesman to sell without a storefront presence.
But to payout mutilevels of commisions is not on the radar screen any time soon.
We will see how that effects Amway who is currently doing 2 Billion in their
storefront operations..its not good news since they (like others) were ready for more
rapid changes.
NuSkin is also in China, and doing well with their storefronts. Mary Kay as well is
there and doing well with there storefront operations.
So there is not "one approved" direct sales company. There is not "one" MLM
company that is approved. MLM is illegal in China. The December law allows only
"one" level to be paided..not multiple levels.
The new laws state what a Direct sales company must have to do business in China.
The company I work with is doing that now. The Chinese people are learning fast
what is an opportunity, and what is not. They are comparing compensation plans
and prefer the "hybrid plans" that do well in the USA.
There stiil remains that Great Wall around All companies in China. Thank God all the
other counrties (most) are not so opposed to impowering their people with free
enterprise opportunites.
It takes time. Time changes alot of things.
Best to all, Jeff
: I also recently came back from China. The reason for what you say above is that
companies did not have enough favour with the Chinese government. One company
which is officially legal in China is "the big one". I won't mention the name here.
: My wife is extremely successful in network marketing. In fact, another company
which operates in China but now in China only as a shop franchise network ( true
MLM in other countries ). Now there are 1000s of shops for this co. in China - many
of which are from her original downline.
: Currently we're using a system which I'll dedicate a whole post too. Please check it
out as it contains the solution to the 'marketing nightmare' that 99.9% of MLM
distributors seem to be in right now. Best wishes. Sam and May.
