I'm late to this board and to this post but I'll share this just in case.

Two books that really helped me to see and understand the mlm industry were The Business School by Robert T. Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and The Very Best Opportunity for Women by Angela L. Moore and Lisa Stringfellow.

When I was first introduced to network marketing, I too thought it was a pyramid scheme. Thankfully, I had someone I trusted who had a lot of patience and showed me the truth.
