Hi,
I would like to know if anybody is using myspace, facebook, etc. for their business?
Also, I would like to know if those social nets can help you with your business?
I am looking for new ideas to present my business without having to pay for leads or break any rules.
Please, can somebody help me with that?
Thanks a lot |

I love MySpace. It's a great way to meet others. I don't use it as often as I used to...there is only so many hours in a day. If you have time to invest into MySpace, I say give it a shot _________________ Audrey

The cost is free, of course, so anything that works and is free can't be bad!
Take a little time to set up a profile and use them.
I use MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter.
I use them all for different purposes but they have all proven to be a good way to make some connections.
And again ... the price is certainly right! _________________ Brian Rooney

Thanks for your answer.
I have one more question:
Can you advertise your business in your profile?
How I should do?
I read the rules but my problem is that English, as you may see, is not my fist language I am afraid to be kick out from them.
When I started with my first forum, the first day they kick me out. I still don't get why.
Please I need your help.!!!!
Thanks a lot guys. |

I think that you asked me about the one that closed my account right?
I don't know if I advertised it or not. I wrote about my opportunities and I made a link to my web-page.
I did that because I saw several people at the end write:
JOIN US! and if you click it, it goes to their web-site. I am confused about that.
I took out my signature now from this question because I don't want people to think that I made all of this this up. I really need advice on this subject.
Thanks a lot |

Silvia,
Let me provide two examples for you. A poster says "how can I get invovled in direct sales?" Here are two possible answers:
1. If you are interested in direct sales, visit the direct sales association and view their database of members.
2. I work at home. I work around my kids schedule and I looked long and hard and I wanted....
In example one, direct sales were mentioned and the governing association mentioned, never using the word "I". In example two the writer has written an ad. The sentence is all about them, trying to sell the reader on what they do. The reader hasn't said "what do you do?" yet the answer is really all about selling the reader on what they do.
Does that makes sense in how to write a post that is and is not an ad? As I mentioned in my other post, my one line about Tupperware was created in my signature file. It's not an ad. It's my signature which is allowed here. _________________ Audrey

Lisa, what's Ning? I have not heard of it. If it's in another strand, just let me know so you don't have to re-write. THanks _________________ Mary Brand

Lisa,
Thanks for your answer.
I love your myspace page.
I am sorry I didin't back to you before but I didn't know that somebody answer. I used to received an e-mail when somebody answer but I don't know why I don't receive them anymore.
I am going to work on my profile and also I have to learn on how to get friends.
Thanks and if you have any more ideas I realy appreciate.
Sincerely,
