Just a thought on using Twitter.
B. L. Ochman has been using Twitter since it first started and has been saying, since the beginning — long before it took off — that it has enormous potential as a marketing tool.
She's also been blogging and promoting social networking for marketers for years. (She's Marketing Sherpa's current Female Marketing Blogger of the Year.)
B. L. is one of the savviest social media users and commentators in the world and her newsletter, What's Next Online?, is a seriously useful insight for serious marketers.

Congratulations on taking the first step and joining Twitter. I just added you to my list of followers. You'll get a email that I've added you and you can then follow me back.
Also, be sure to add the others who have posted in this thread as well. To do that all you need to do is log into your Twitter account and then click on the link in the post and you can then add them too.
You can then see what others are posting and how they are using Twitter. Just have fun with it and think of it as a gigantic business networking event where you are meeting lots of interesting people.
Next, you just start making some posts. You can post about what you are currently working on, your personal interests and anything else that you'd like to share.

Woohoo, I got the message that you are following me. You should have recieved an email that I am now following you. Also, I see that Linda is following you, you should have gotten that email also.
You do not have to answer all of my posts, just like you don't answer them all here. Twitter is a way to tell others what you're doing.
For example I've written a few articles today. You might see me post later and say "I've written a few articles" I'm just telling others what I'm doing.
Have fun with Twitter. It really can be addicting. Go through and read all of Linda's posts. You can do this by clicking on her icon. Go through and read my posts. I see you are following Lisa. Click her photo and read her posts. This will give you an idea of what things 3 different women post.

Right now I have one account. There are others who have one personal and one business. There are some who have one for their downline only. I talk too much to be able to do the downline on twitter thing.
