NWM => MASTERMIND Principle

Hello Business Associates:

I'd like to share with you some thoughts that might be of value in building a successful MLM business...

SPONSORING ("attraction of Partners") to our Team is only the beginning. It's a critical part of the overall process - make no mistake - but I believe the far greater challenge is in KEEPING our Partners.

How do we DO this?

Well, there are 'many' factors that go into the equation (some complex) - but I feel the more important ones include - mutual trust and respect - mutual passion for the company / mission / product - getting new Partners into early 'positive cash flow' - strong and consistent 'communication' => and (hopefully) creating an 'environment' that both inspires and empowers.

I'd like to expand a bit on this latter one ...

The road to success in our business (in any business) is never easy.

OBSTACLES - For the work-at-home NWM//MLM entrepreneur, it can be long and hard. We live in a negative world - a world full of discouragement, disappointment and distraction. It takes a strong 'belief' and powerful discipline to overcome these forces. Too often, when we get disheartened, we denigrate ourselves for being too weak, too unmotivated or too tired.

In actuality, all that may be lacking is more SUPPORT.

Board Of Directors - Personally, I've found that a simple, easy and sure-fire means of creating -- and 'maintaining' that Support - for those who truly WANT to participate - is to form a SUCCESS TEAM - much like having our own 'Board Of Directors'.

M-A-S-T-E-R-M-I-N-D Principle - This is the same as used by large Corporations and heads of Government. It creates a "synergy" and a Team Spirit.

Camaraderie - What this does is, it helps "tie people together" - it stimulates a "common purpose" atmosphere. No one person needs to "go it alone" in our business. The idea behind the Mastermind Principle is to SHARE goals / ideas / thoughts with each other - to act as a "sounding board" for each other - to encourage / applaud / empathize / discover / counsel / on and on.

PROVEN Concept - The idea of the Mastermind Principle is not new. Benjamin Franklin had his JUNTA, which met for over 40 years. Napoleon Hill ('Think & Grow Rich') created his Master Mind Alliance. It encompasses the concept of T-E-A-M-S => Together - Everyone - Achieves - More - Success. Such a Mastermind Group helps 'each member' to - stay on track / solve problems / be accountable / critique each other (some Success Teams refer to their Teammates as - "an affectionate bunch of ass-kickers"). People tend to have better ideas "for each other" than they do "for themselves" - they tend to have more courage "for each other" than they do "for themselves", etc. This creates an iron-clad BOND between the Partners - one that helps KEEPS THEM IN the Team / Biz.

REQUIREMENTS - Membership on an NWM Mastermind Team usually has TWO primary stipulations...

(1)=>A 'GOAL' - one that's "worth working for" - they 'must' be willing to uncover a Goal "worthy of their efforts". It cannot be a Goal whose accomplishment is 'inevitable' - it must be a Goal that will require a 'concentrated effort' - one that "stays focused" in the direction of a BIG Dream for them.

(2)=> MEETINGS - Regular Meetings / Conference Calls / Web Conferences - these should be at 'least' weekly. Often, Saturday Mornings (or Sunday Evenings) are good for these - they usually last 1-hour - the Hosts can be alternated - Homework Assignments can be highly worthwhile.

BENEFITS - The 'beauty' of using the Mastermind Principle (in addition to helping KEEP our Partners) are many => we brainstorm solutions to problems => we throw out fresh ideas => we keep 'focused' on our Goals => we become more accountable => we motivate each other => we increase our self esteem, because we see progress towards Success => we have a 'home' => feel like we 'belong to a cause' => we have some FUN => we give birth so some of our future LEADERS.

Perhaps even more importantly - the Team 'Mastermind Principle' reveals to us that, when we make continual progress towards 'our' Goal(s) - and see the progress of 'other members' - we stay excited and remain more enthusiastic about our Lives - something that can carry over into 'everything' we do!

Just some thoughts to ponder.

I wish you much success and happiness with your Mastermind Group.

Sincerely / Peter A.

As you said it is hard. ( MLM) this is a difficult week for me. I have a MLM business as I work 4 days a week as a psyc/addiction nurse. It has been a wicked week at work, like a constant full moon and the business has reached a stand still while I feel burned out and have feeling so being a failure. Even tho i know I am not. I have people using my product but not people under me doing the business. I reached our first level in 6 weeks, supposed to be good, but I am disappointed that I am stuck and nothing is moving in any way. i am in a partially give up mode, like maybe I don't have what it takes or maybe I am too old for this. My sponsor says " visualize what you want, and all the spiritual stuff that I am aware of. " not helping. I ask my higher power and the universe to lead me to what I should be doing. New England is slow and not as holistic as Arizona, I am not moving to Arizona.
anyways, that is where I am at. Thanks for listening. leila

Leilad,

Don't let one difficult week make you quit. Instead of focusing on what's going wrong -- shift your focus to what's going right -- You reached the first level of your company in 6 weeks and you have people using your product. That's great! Now look back and think about what you did to reach those goals and keep doing it.

It's not easy to build a business, and everyone in business has these kinds of weeks -- but the successful ones keep going anyway. One of the keys to success is to continue to take the small steps consistently each day no matter what's happening. It's a test of your will and commitment to your business -- and I can tell you from personal experience that if you just keep going and working through or around the problems and obstacles that appear in your path, you will experience greater and greater success.

Give yourself a jolt of inspiration. Do something nice and relaxing for yourself and reward yourself for coming this far. Success is a mind game you play with yourself. And you get to determine the rules Smile

If you tell yourself you are a failure and you are burned out -- you are -- and if you tell yourself you are wonderful success and full of energy -- you are. Forget about visualizing your success and just do it anyway!

Hope this helps!

Hi Leilad:

I agree 110% with Linda's comments above.

In fact, right after reading your response - it is 'exactly' why I posted my message - a Gift of GREAT VALUE. I was thinking of you.

Indirectly, it was meant for you, but I wanted to draw greater attention to it - for the benefit of others - by posting it separately.

As hard as it is sometimes (and we ALL go through these ups and downs) -

WE 'ATTRACT' - AND 'BECOME' - WHAT WE THINK ABOUT

That is both "scary" - but "exciting" - when we stop and really let this 'sink in'.

It is all based on the powerful Law Of Attraction.

I hope you will be able to turn your situation around - it 'starts' with our Attitude and our Mindset.

Here's wishing you much greater success, peace and happiness Leilad.

Kindest regards / Peter A.

thank you both, today I drove about 8 hours ( a fun day) because i took off for the white mountains, Franconia, I went thru some of the trails, took pictures, had a great salad in Lincoln, saw the remains of the old man of the mountain. ( where did he go?)
I am not giving up, I think I need a break as my psyc job is draining. we have all the near sociopaths!!!!!!!! I did sell a bottle yesterday altho that is not where I make money but it's a start back.
Yes, what you wrote did sound like it was for me!!!!!!! I am aware of the law of attraction. For a positive person, my mind has fallen into a funk.
I'm working on it. leila

I think it is a positive to realize when ya have the symptoms of burn out, it is a little more than getting a night's sleep. It is more than just saying, " I don't have burn out, I am fine and energetic" while tears are falling down your face and life has drained you. there is a sense of reality to know when you are doing too much and you have life stressors. When my sponsor does that, " change your thinking thing" I pull away because I am not allowed to have feelings, fears and exhaustion. Leila

Hi Leila:

I can feel your pain.

I believe it's very healthy for ALL of us to pause - to look inward - to seriously reflect at times.

I also believe we need to be able to openly 'express' our frustrations, concerns, fears - in complete safety.

That's what 'trusting friends' are for - 'friendship' is a gift we give to ourselves.

--- "a friend is someone who understands our past - believes in our future - and accepts us today just the way we are."

--- "A friend will joyfully sing with us when we're on the mountain top - and silently walk beside us through the valley."

It is all too easy at times for us to put forth (what we believe to be) 'ideal solutions' for others - and the Law of Attraction is a mighty one, once understood.

And true, we all need to pursue our DREAM - as it will sustain us through almost anything ("the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" - Eleanor Roosvelt)

But sometimes these 'solutions' can also appear to be offered as push-button "quick fixes" - when perhaps all we really need at that moment is to get in touch with what will bring us a little more PEACE in our lives.

Here's a lovely little Movie that embraces this perfectly - - -

Leila - I am humbled by your warm words - thank you most sincerely.

It is "I" that is the lucky person though - to have the beautiful family I have -
my lovely wife and two great sons, who we're extremely proud of. Smile

You can "meet" our family if you wish (click "My Album" link - then, it's better
to keep clicking the pictures on the left bar) => http://www.picturetrail.com/view

My wish for you is that you will find much joy and many blessings in your life Leila.

Highest regards / Peter A.
