NWM => What is our ROI?

Dear Business Associates:

In my Business and Financial Consulting practice, I've usually focused with clients on things like - budgeting - cash flow - return on investment (ROI) - assets - net worth, etc.

With your permission, I'd like to explore how WE should be using some of this same thinking as Network Marketing professionals. Any of the top earners will say that achieving real success in the most promising industry on this earth is not easy - that there is a large PRICE to pay - but that there is also a PRIZEavailable that is so rare, it can be almost beyond belief.

Let's look at some 'components' of both...

TIME -&- MONEY - These are two of the most 'precious' parts. TIME is considered the "new currency of the 21st century" - time IS money . In our industry, we can acquire WEALTH by investing TIME -even though most people do it by investing MONEY. Both commodities are in short supply.

QUESTIONS - "How do I sponsor someone who is terribly BUSY? - who just doesn't have the TIME? - How do I find the TIME to build my NWM // MLM businesses? - I don't think I have the TIME - How much TIME is this going to take?...

These are NOT the right questions to be asking others (or ourselves).

The questions should be - "How much MONEY do you (we) want? - How fast would you (we) like to become FINANCIALLY FREE? - Is the "time" you're (we're) spending right NOW giving you (us) what you (we) really WANT in life? - Is uour (our) present "path" the one that will deliver the FUTURE you (we) want? - Because if it IS - we don't even need to talk!...

ANSWERS - "But if you ARE a busy person - WITHOUT much time - you're EXACTLY the type of individual I'm LOOKING for! - Because you see - we only have a few choices with old Father Time --

(1)- We cannot FIND time unless we 'rob' it from something, because it's already being "used up" elsewhere;

(2)- We cannot SAVE time, no matter what;

(3)- We cannot SPEND time, because then it's gone;

(4)- But, if we I-N-V-E-S-T time - WISELY - I'll show you how 'that' can mean the difference between - a mediocre existence - and an abundant lifestyle! This is a very basic principle. In fact, I will even show you a way that you can "create" M-O-R-E time - through a principle called LEVERAGE.

HOURS / WEEK - The choice is always going to be OURS. It doesn't matter what our 'circumstances' may be - every single one of us - no matter what our job / career / business / profession / calling - no matter how poor or wealthy we may be => each of us starts out with the SAME "24 HOURS / DAY - - 168 HOURS / WEEK" - Period.

NO more - NO less.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI) - We ALL have the capacity to re-arrange / manage / control / invest "some" of that TIME - to get a better 'return' on our investment (ROI)..


COMPARISON - Let's compare -investing our TIME -vs- investing our MONEY.

=> Money - When we invest our MONEY (wisely) - we'll hopefully, accumulate and expand it - and eventually, get all of our MONEY back - "plus" a good return ON it.

=> Time - But when we invest our TIME (into our NWM business - wisely) and we're patient - and we DUPLICATE it properly - we'll not only 'reap what we sow' - many, many times over (get all the money back + handsome "return") - but we'll ALSO manufacture "more" TIME - to be able to ENJOY that money!.

That is rare - it's an amazing ROI - it creates enormous TIME FREEDOM - it is largely 'unique' to this great business.

SACRIFICE - As a basic principle - we'll always have to GIVE UP some of whatever it IS that we want MORE of => either MONEY - to get more money => or TIME - to get more time.

But we WILL 'get it back' later (either one) => and in MORE of it than we 'gave up' initially.

R-O-I - As with "money" investing - it's exactly the same in TIME investing - we need to constantly ask ourselves => WHAT IS THE "CURRENT" RETURN ON MY INVESTMENT OF "TIME" - TODAY - RIGHT NOW - IN MY "PRESENT" JOB / BUSINESS / PROFESSION?

CRITICAL - In other words, is what we are doing TODAY in our jobs / businesses / professions - going to reward us - with MORE TIME for our families - MORE TIME to relax and enjoy leisure / recreation / friends / hobbies / quality of life / etc? -OR- are we just SPENDING that time - to make a living / make ends meet?

LEVERAGE - Ask people - "How would you like to INVEST say, 300 HOURS - but get PAID for 3000 HOURS or MORE? - Does that sound like a pretty good investment of TIME? - Would that be an attractive R-O-I of your TIME? We are talking here of TIME LEVERAGING - a turbo-powered engine within our industry that enables us the RAPID GLOBAL EXPANSION of our business - far beyond that of the traditional Business / Franchise models.

By itself, the whole concept of Time Leverage is awesome. But when combined with the electronic speed of the INTERNET - it is almost unbelievable - and most people don't even KNOW about this yet! It is a story we need to tell.

Most of us know about the principle of - "putting our MONEY to work for us" - but what we're talking about here is => "putting our TIME to work for us". What's our R-O-I in these cases? Let's explore it...

= 'MONEY' INVESTING - Well, the more attractive the "MONEY investment" is - usually the more RISK we have (we could chance losing some of it - a lot of it - all of it). But to illustrate using 'compound interest' - if we invest say, $25,000 - for a return of say, 10% - at the end of one year = $25,000 + $2,500 (interest) = $27,500. If LEFT there to compound and accumulate at the same rate of return, it would be worth in 25 years, $2,458,000 - a pretty good R-O-I => the miracle of Money compounding (ignoring taxes and assuming a 'steady' 10%).

= 'TIME' INVESTING - But what about the 'compounding' of TIME? I'm going to use an example with some 'averages' here - to make a point. Let's say WE are prepared to make a "TIME investment" of about 10 HOURS / WEEK into our business by OURSELVES - and that we really "commit" to sponsoring, and leveraging, and 'growing' our business. Have a look...

WE put 10 hours / week into our business................................................. 10 Hours / Week
Over time, we find just 5 OTHERS who do this as well (at 10 Hrs ea)......... 50 Hours / Week
Working with them, we help THEM find just 5 / Group (at 10 Hrs ea)........ 250 Hours / Week
TOTAL Hours / Week (Leverage) going into OUR business......................... 310 Hours / Week

310 Hours / Week x 52 Weeks (1 Year).................................................. 16,120 Hours / YEAR

(Using a 40 Hour average work week - 40 Hours x 52 Weeks = 2,000 Hours)

Now - 16,120 Hours - divided by 2,000 Hours - - -

=> 8 YEARS of effort - rolled into O-N-E year (in OUR business)!

O-P-E - Over a period of one year - WE (in our Biz) developed an income based on a TIME investment of only 520 Hours of our OWN effort (10 Hrs / Wk x 52 Wks) - but we got PAID - based on a total 'leveraged' TIME investment of over 16,000 Hours - including OTHER people's efforts (OPE)!

WE actually "created" MORE TIME - and earned a pretty darn good R-O-I !!

If we begin to 'translate' those HOURS into an actual "MONEY return" (compared to the one above [at 10% interest]) => it can absolutely BLOW it AWAY!

Unrealistic? - In NWM - not on your life => it's the COMPOUNDING effect of TIME Leverage.

THE GREAT 'EQUALIZER' - Ask people - "Look at your "current" income right now - How much of it depends on YOU? - How much of it is based on your OWN effort? - 100%? - Then, you're simply TRADING HOURS FOR DOLLARS => and that puts an absolute UPPER LIMIT on what you can ever earn - and that could eventually spell 'burnout'.

Business owners and Professionals in particular, will understand this - but only IF we bring it to their attention.

IN THE 'BANK' - Imagine there is a Bank that credits OUR Account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening, the Bank 'deletes' whatever part of the balance WE failed to "use up" (spend) during the day. What would we do? We would draw out every cent, of course!

Each of US "has" such a Bank => it's name is T-I-M-E.

Every morning, it credits US with 86,400 SECONDS. Every night it writes off as LOST - whatever of this WE failed to INVEST to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day, it opens up a new Account for US. Each night, it burns the remains of the day. If WE "fail to use" the day's deposits, the "loss" is OURS. There is no 'going back'. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". WE must 'live in the present'...on today's deposits.

Let's INVEST those deposits wisely - let's get a wonderful R-O-I on it - let's tell "others" our very POWERFUL STORY - let's show THEM how THEY can enjoy Leverage - and Time Freedom - and Peace of Mind - and in so doing => WE will soon enjoy the utmost in success and happiness!
