NWM => S-H-I-P-P-I-N-G
Hello Business Associates:
Much has been written about -- COLD Market --vs-- WARMMarket -- and, do we lead with the PRODUCT or the OPPORTUNITY? -- should we build WIDE or DEEP? -- are COMPRESSED Pay Plans better than NON-COMPRESSED -- or should a Comp Plan pay on VOLUME or on LEVELS? -- on and on it goes - - -
If I may, I'd like to 'add my own 2-cents worth - Canadian
S-H-I-P-P-I-N-G - Sometimes I feel we forget one of the most important principles about "human interaction" within our NWM industry -- that of RELATIONSHIPS being first -- above all else.
FriendSHIPS => RelationSHIPS => PartnerSHIPS => with P-E-O-P-L-E.
That is what our industry is 'really' about, in my opinion -- and this can take place in both our WARM and COLD Markets -- IF we always put PEOPLE first (..."if we build the people -- THEY will build the business" -- Dexter Yager).
And from those Friendships / Relationships / Partnerships -- will come some LeaderSHIP candidates in future. S-H-I-P-P-I-N-G. John Milton Fogg is the MASTER of teaching this principle.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FriendSHIPPING => RelationSHIPPING => PartnerSHIPPING => LeaderSHIPPING.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YES -- the Comp Plan structure is important -- and YES -- the Strategies / Tactics / Marketing Systems / Tools are critical -- but the rest will follow ((the movement of Product -- the acquisition of Customers and Biz Builders [both grassroots + hitters] -- the growth of business -- IF the PEOPLE come first.
And once this psychology is understood -- and practiced -- and duplicated -- WE will be on the right path.
FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS - I believe when all is said and done, it's not too complicated -- it's like practicing the GOLDEN RULE -- it's the whole theme upon which our NWM industry is built => help enough other people get what they want in life 'first' -- and we will achieve many of our own life's goals and dreams.
What a MAGNIFICANT PURPOSE!
To win what I'd like to call a Peaceful Freedom Income in this NWM industry (and this applies to me as much as anyone) -- we need to fully understand this simple code. We need to develop our 'contact lists' to the extent where many people will respect us enough to get involved in our business. This is the biggest challenge we face, in many ways. Some people have a large and developed contact list, and can put many people into a room for a Biz Presentation with just one phone call. Why? Because they have earned the RESPECT of their friends -- based upon their actions in the past. They have developed their credibility.
Making 'others' feel comfortable, validated or important => this is an art. It’s a quality of all great Leaders. Abraham Lincoln was a master at it. Lincoln was always accessible to the people, and would listen to everyone, no matter how trivial their problem, if they came to see him. He respected OTHERS -- and in turn, HE was respected.
Where does all this lead us? - - -
((( PERSONAL GROWTH ))) - In essence, I believe we attract people to us by WHO we are. If who we are is not yet where it needs to be to attract quality people -- this is what we must develop. In reality, this is always an 'ongoing' development -- as we never complete the race.
By spending time with people that we can learn more from -- we will BEcome more.
By reading inspirational and informative articles -- and thinking about them -- so we can apply their message to our own lives -- we BEcome more.
By remaining humble and realizing that we just don’t know 'everything' -- we attract people that will help US grow into MORE -- and there is always room to grow.
BEcoming more truly is a DAILY Discipline.

Quotes -- by Jim Rohn:
=> "Income seldom exceeds personal development."
=> "What you become, directly influences what you get."
=> "After you become a millionaire, you can give all of your money away - because what's important is not the million dollars - what's important is the person you have become in the process of becoming a millionaire."
=> "The most important question to ask on the job is not, 'What am I getting?' The most important question to ask on the job is, 'What am I becoming?'"
=> "Pity the man who inherits a million dollars and who isn't a millionaire. Here's what would be pitiful: If your revenue grew and you didn't."
